ABSTRACT

                       The study entitled ‘The Academic Administration of Secondary Schools under the Office of Pathumthani - Saraburi Educational Area 4’was aiming to study the academic administration  of Secondary Schools under the Office of Pathumthani - Saraburi Educational Area 4 as the administrators’ and teachers’ opinion and to compare the academic administration of Secondary Schools under  the Office of Pathumthani - Saraburi Educational Area  4 as the administrators’ and teachers’ opinion. This study was a survey research in nature. The sample of the study comprised of 186 administrators and teachers of schools under the Office  of  Pathumthani - Saraburi Educational Area 4. The tool of data collection was a Scheduled questionnaire with the reliable rate of 0.952. Statistics used for the data analysis was Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, t-test, One-Way Analysis of Variance: F-test and Least Significant.Difference:.LSD based on the ready-made computer programme. The findings of the study were as follows:

                        1. The most respondents were female comprising of  124 ones that were 67.03 %. They were between 51-60 years old that were 80 persons with 43.24 %. The most respondents with a Bachelor degree were 138 persons that were 74.59 %. The majority of them  had over 20 years of experience in teaching that included 72 persons with 38.92 %. The most 66 respondents were in Thammasat Khlongluang Vidyakhom  comprising of 35.68 percent.

                       2.  Respondents’ opinion on the academic administration of Secondary Schools under the Office of Pathumthani - Saraburi Educational Area 4 was generally found to be more (Mean is equal to 3.93). While individually considering it was found that the respondents’ opinion on evaluation was moderate whereas other aspects were more.
