Abstract

                                                                         ABSTRACT

 

             This research “A Relation Study of Brahmavihara (the Sublime States of Mind) and the Leadership of Chief Incumbent in Amphoe Nangrong, Buriram Province” has 3 objectives; 1) to study Brahmavihara in Buddhist scriptures 2) to study the leadership of Chief Incumbent and 3) to study the relation of Brahmavihara and the leadership of Chief Incumbent in Amphoe Nangrong, Buriram Province.

             The result of research finds that;

             Brahmavihara is leader’s morality which should adapt for 4 suitable experiences namely; 1) the leader should be loving-kindness as the followers experienced normal life 2) the leader should be compassion as the followers are in trouble 3) the leader should be sympathetic joy as the followers succeeded and         4) the leader should be equanimity or be not bias as the followers violated the rule or regulations.

             Chief Incumbent should consist of leadership which considers from the religious welfare namely; administration, monastic education, religious propagation, public assistance, welfare education and public welfare. Those religious welfares can support and uplift for chief incumbent, monks, lay followers, monastery, society and community.

             For the relation of Brahmavihara and leadership of chief incumbent, it shows that chief incumbent in Nangrong District, Buriram Province can adapt this principle for working so well.
