A STUDY OF ETHICAL BEHAVIOR OF PRIMARY STUDENTS IN LANKRABUE SCHOOL GROUP UNDER KAMPHAENGPHET PRIMARY EDUCATION SERVICE AREA OFFICE 1

Abstract

ABSTRACT

               The objectives of this thesis were as follows:- 1) to study the ethical behavior of primary students in Lankrabue school group under Kamphaengphet primary education service area office 1, 2) to compare the opinion of people toward the ethical behavior of primary students in Lankrabue school group under Kamphaengphet primary education service area office 1, 3) to offer the guidelines of encouragement to the ethical behavior of primary students in Lankrabue school group under Kamphaengphet primary education service area office 1.

      This research was survey research which was qualitative research. The sampling group in this research was administer and teacher in Lankrabue school group 89 person that selected by using method of Krejcie and Morgan. The data collection instrument were questionnaire and interview form. There are reliability levels of 0.05 by purposive data collection. Software for social science research was used for data analysis. The general statistics for data analysis are Frequencies, Percentage. The statistics for data analysis were frequencies, percentage, mean, standard deviation (S.D.), t-test and F-test. Data analysis methods were One Way ANOVA by Least Significant Difference: LSD and Summary the problems and suggestions by analyzing and synthesizing data. The results of the research revealed that student’s opinions to the ethical behavior at the high level (maximum, high, medium, few, least).

 

          The research results showed that: 

          1) The ethical behavior of primary students in Lankrabue school group under Kamphaengphet primary education service area office 1 had 6 of items included: the item on orderliness, the item on responsibility, the item on sacrifices, the item on gratitude, the item on diligence, and the item on honesty. When considering into each item showed that the item on orderliness and responsibility showed the highest average. The item on honesty showed the least average.

          2) The results of the comparative personnel’s opinion toward the ethical behavior of primary students in Lankrabue school group under Kamphaengphet primary education service area office 1 showed that personnel who had different gender had opinion toward the ethical behavior of primary students differed at the statistical significant 0.05. The personnel who had different age, education status, and work period had not different opinion at the statistical significant 0.05.

          3) The guidelines of encouragement to the ethical behavior of primary students in Lankrabue school group under Kamphaengphet primary education service area office 1 include: 1) the item orderliness, should had rigorous and penalties to offenders for promoting student’s behaving according to the rules of the school. 2) The item on responsibility, the teacher should suggest or encourage students to be active and see the importance of responsibility. The teacher should find appropriate activities by starting simple and add more responsibilities respectively. 3) The item on honesty, the teachers, educational personnel and parents all sectors should help oversee and guide the activities to cultivate the values to students. 4) The Item on sacrifices, the teachers, educational personnel should encourage students to do activities for students to be considerate. , Not taking advantage of others, helping others, not adhere personal benefit over the common good. 5) The item on gratitude, administrators, teachers and educational personnel should encourage student activities to create the correct values to students. , to create consciousness in obligation. There were respect, obey and support the work of the patron. Did not show irritability or upset when warned and polite to adults. 6) Side of diligence, teachers should encourage students by adding fun activities and had been learning in class for the interest of students which resulted students had the intention, an attempt to do the work and learn continuously and consistently, be patient and not give up when obstacles until the fulfillment objectives.
