Administrative model of basic education according to the principle of Iddhipada 4 in prison, Area 6

Abstract

            This research aims at (1) to study the nature of basic administration for the prisoners in prison, area 6. (2) to build the model of basic educational administration following the principle of Iddhipada4 for the prisoners in prison, area 6. (3) to evaluate the model of basic educational administration following the principle of Iddhipada4 for the prisoners in prison, area 6 by studying the relevant document and research also interviewing the 19 key informants, the Buddhism specialist, the model specialist, the correction specialist and the qualified figures to evaluate the model totally 30 persons.

This research can be divided into 3 steps; step 1 to study the nature or the state of basic educational administration for the prisoners in prison, area 6 by using semi-structured interview and content analysis from the 19 key informants. Step 2 to build the model of basic educational administration following the principle of Iddhipada4 for the prisoners in prison, area 6 by arranging the group conversation from the 12 key informants and using the instrument of record form and content analysis. Step 3 to evaluate the  model of basic educational administration following the principle of Iddhipada4 for the prisoners in prison, area 6 from the informants consisting of Prison Director, Director of Division, Head of education and mental Rehabilitation Section to tally 30 persons. The instrument of assessment form on the model of basic educational administration form on the model of basic education administration for the prisoners in prison, area 6 is statistics on frequency and percentage values.

The outcomes of studying the model of basic educational administration following the principle of Iddhipada4 for the prisoners in prison, area 6 found that (1). The state of basic education for the prisoners in prison, area 6 lacking of the experts in educational administration, activity on knowledge support that due to the special place, particular, not same as schools, not to contribute for the education arrangement like the general curriculum, the educational staffs qualify unstandardized of the curriculum, deficient promotion and development on learners, lacking of academic standard and links, insufficient budgets, insufficient the education materials, including the suitable rooms, the officers lack the knowledge of regulations and stages on operation and follow-up of the basic educational work being apparently concrete, focusing on following the order of court mainly , The educational personals of the prison do not teach how to think, to do. And to apply. Setting the objectives are still exist the problems for the basic educational administration, can not analyze the general administration that suit for the basic education. (2) The model of basic educational administration following the principle of Iddhipada4 for the prisoners in prison, area 6 consisting of academic, budget, general administration, and personnel administration following the principle of Iddhipada4 such as Chantha, Viriya, Jitta, and Vimanksa that integrate with the 4 sides of basic educational administration work achieving the goals. (3) The results of evaluating the model of basic education administration following the principle of Iddhipada4 for the prisoners in prison, area 6, the 4 sides of administrative works, the 4 models can be beneficially at the most level in every way of sub-management in overview.

The new body of knowledge from research is “ABPGSDAC=MODEL” that has more significance for the basic educational development overmuch nowadays making the executives who get involved in educational management in prison get the model of educational development and promote or support the education on basic education for the prisoners over the country.
