As a result of that, they could not understand their value of life where the wrong view brings about no-faith in the Kamma and its law. In this the prison’s cell, they have been confronted by the problem of adaptation, disciplinary and respect for the regulations despite of the Department of Corrections’ proper arrangement of ways of living life in accordance with the international standard. Such conditions has no impact for their mental development at all.

In the research, guidelines to develop the prisoner’s quality of life done through the integrated Buddhism were found that in the theory they was integrated through the above mentioned Buddhist teachings and western ideas on the criminology and in the practical aspect they were integrated through the ideas and principles of remedy and rehabilitation according to the international standard where their mind is implanted through Buddhist virtues and Dhamma practices in the prison’s project. New body of knowledge gained from this research can be used as alternative guidelines to develop the individual and social quality of life.
