Based on the study of the general conditions of agricultural groups in Yang Sisurat district, Mahasarakham province, there are 5 groups of farmers divided into groups of pensioner farmers, organic vegetable growing, bio-fertilizer production, basketry and mulberry growing and sericulture. All groups have the principles and methods of working. The pensioner farmer group will do in the matter involving soil, water and forest by improving the quality of soil, planting trees along the rice field ridge and digging water wells, etc. The fertilizer plant group focuses on bio-fertilizers used to nourish the soil, rice plants, trees and vegetables. The basketry group focuses on the use of natural materials in production, such as bamboo, and the use of daily life materials in the production. The mulberry growing and sericulture group focuses on the production of exported silk. Every group has a relationship with one another. The problems encountered by each group are mostly natural disasters, water sources containing pesticide residues from the use of pesticides and the lack of public relations to connect with government and private agencies.

reinforcing the community's strength based on the Buddhist principles of the farmer group in Yang Sisurat district, Mahasarakham province by using Buddhist economy consists of the structures based on general economic principles, namely production, consumption and distribution (marketing). With the principles of Buddhism inserted in all three principles, the farmers apply the principles as follows: the production must be in a way that does not encroach on others and does not waste resources. The marketing must consider the needs and abilities of consumers including the quality of production. It must be generous to others, not seek for the profit only profit. Buddhist consumption must really focus on the quality of life. The consumption must consist of four requisites as needed and they do not consume because they want to satisfy their passion but based on virtues which make for protection (nāthakaraa-dhamma) or self-reliance.
