Abstract

The objectives of this research are to study the development model of the buddhist scripture schools general of chiangrai province and study their development procedures including the presentation of the practical model of the said schools.

          It was found from this research that these school development due to HRH initiation should assign the teachers to teach every subject according to their majors or minors or their potential as well as the invitation of the local wisemen to participate in teaching, recruit new qualified teachers, provide in-service training for the present teachers to enhance their capacity of conducting their duties, hire special resource persons to teach some subject shortage, persuade former students to join in teaching some subjects. On the administrative procedure, the environment conditions and services that promote the learners to develop their full natural potential should be provided by improving the school landscape to be ready to provide proper teaching-learning activities coupled with the arrangement of fieldtrip study as  lively-learning sources.

          Regarding the development procedures, it was found that there are some successful activities such as the promotion processes for teachers to conduct researches to improve the quality of learning of each learning contents, the provision of technological teaching-learning aids, the promotion of the teachers to use the learning centres both in and outside the schools, the provision of the supervision system of academic and learning-teaching activities both in and outside the schools.

          From this study, the results on the development procedures are as follows : 1. On the leadership model of the administrators, the qualified Buddhist heirs had been developed, 2. The teamwork model to develop the administrative system that can be replaceable had been done, 3. The model on promoting Thailand to be the centre of the Buddhist scripture schools for the learning access of the ASEAN novice students had been promoted, and 4. The model of planning and participation focusing on creating Thailand to be the centre of Buddhism had been created.
